The first mission in which humans walked on the Moon. Upon landing in Mare Tranquilitatis (the Sea of Tranquility), Armstrong reported, "Houston, Tranquility Base here - the Eagle has landed." When Neil Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface he stated: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". 19 minutes later "Buzz" Aldrin joined him on the lunar surface.
